Jude McDues is a Naarm/Melbourne-based singer-songwriter, musician and producer of Portuguese heritage. His music blends Folk, Country, Americana and Roots influences, with a strong focus on introspective storytelling, acoustic instrumentation and intimate vocal performance.

Drawing on personal experience, memory, relationships and place, Jude’s songs move between quiet reflection and broader observations of the world around him. His musical influences span generations and genres, from country storytellers and melodic songwriters to classic rock and guitar-driven music.

A regular performer at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, Jude has performed locally and internationally, including at the Australian Country Music Hall of Fame. Performing primarily with acoustic guitar, harmonica and voice, he continues to develop a body of original work centred on honest songwriting and stories drawn from lived experience.
